The drivers side electric window on my 96 E36 opens without a problem but when trying to close it gets stuck and the motor worm screw grinds the against the nylon gear wheel within the gear housing between the motor and the regulator and the window doesn’t close without manual intervention. Any ideas how to fix this, i’ve tried a new motor but that grinds, do i need a new regulator or are the electrics to blame?
