Fast Selling Small Cars from Maruti stable

The Indian car market is growing on a fast pace and launch of new models and increasing sales clearly supports the aforesaid. Many car models are doing great on the Indian roads.  Every year there is a bunch of cars that are in great demand.

There are many cars models that are selling like hot cakes but there are top 3 of them: Among the list it is the models from Maruti Suzuki that top the list. Out of five models three of them come from Maruti Suzuki’s stable.

Maruti Suzuki Alto
One of the most selling small cars in India is the perfect family car which is a blend of economy, practicality and styling. Alto shines well on the European roads. The car portrays quality build and reliability of the car brand. Despite many new launches, Alto stays as the best selling small car of India.    The car in the financial year of 2009 sold nearly 2,12,568.

Maruti Suzuki Alto is powered by a 796cc petrol engine with an output of 46 bhp. Engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission is seen in three variants: Maruti Suzuki Alto Standard, Maruti Suzuki Alto LX and Maruti Suzuki Alto LXi It is enhanced with a well tuned McPherson Strut with torsion type roll control device front suspension and the coil spring gas-filled shock absorbers with three link rigid axle and isolated trailing arms in the rear suspension. Though small the car carries its own style and elegance. It is the perfect car for a small family with an affordable price tag.

Maruti Suzuki WagonR
Though it comes with a little boring design, the Maruti Suzuki WagonR is still sells in good numbers. The car is a very good performer and ensures to safeguard the passengers with its advanced safety features. For the 2009 the boxy car is seen in attractive colours. The car  in 2009 fiscal  was sold in 1,34,768 units.

The car is seen with a 1.1-litre In-line 4 engine that produces 64 bhp. It comes with an option of 5-speed manual transmission and 3-speed automatic transmission. It is supported with four variants- LX, LXi, VXi and AX variants. The car is also seen in the petrol- LPG version called as Duo. The car is suspended with McPherson Strut front suspension and coil spring rear suspension in the rear.

One of the best looking and sporty car from the house of Maruti Suzuki has received great response ever since its launch. The sport Maruti Suzuki Swift hatch is very popular car especially among the younger crowd. With a not so bad price tag, the car is an instant success. It was sold in big numbers leaving behind other car models of the same segment. The car sold 1,10,071units in 2009 financial year.

Available in petrol and diesel version, the car comes with a1.3-litre engine capacity for both the versions. The petrol version delivers an output of 87 bhp whereas the diesel version produces 75 bhp. Equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox, Swift is available in five versions: LXi, VXi, ZXi (petrol), and LDi and VDi (diesel).

With its elegant and sporty design the car is definitely a winner who is a part of the increasing Maruti Suzuki’s sales figure.

we puchased a 2005 jaguar x-type vanden plas on ebay, dealer said it was fine, checked out fine on auto check but when we tried to switch insurance companies we were told the car had a $500 claim last year and also a $1,600 collision claim on it. when we brought it back to new york from florida my husband found where it had been repainted on the drivers side quarter panel. we know a jaguar repair can be quite expensive but i feel the dealer should have told us about it. we love the car but do you think we should ask for some money back. the dealer sells on e-bay and i know i can give him bad feedback. what does anyone think. could you please give me your educated opinion. thanks so much!!!!!!!!!! i forgot to mention that our original insurance never mentioned the collision claim when i added the jaguar to our policy. the reason we wanted to switch insurance companies is because we only had 5 days to get the car back to new york state for a picture inspection.
