If I Get A General Loanfrom Fifth Third Bank, Do I Have To Have Full Coverage Auto Insurance?

November 3rd, 2009 4 Comments   Posted in Auto Insurance

I’m looking to buy a 1998 Grand Prix GT for $2700 and looking to take out a loan to do it. I’m not getting an auto loan, but instead a general loan. I was wondering if anyone knows if I’ll need to have full coverage insurance on the car while I’m repaying the loan? Thanks.

How Would You Define Full Coverage Auto Insurance?

I’m trying to sign up for auto insurance, scouting prices from different web sites and all, and was wondering what is considered “Full Coverage”? There are too many options, and I’m still making payments on my car and was told I had to show proof of full coverage. I don’t want to over pay for insurance or underpay and not have full coverage. Money is kind of an issue here.

Can I Go Over The Max Transpo Expense Coverage Of My Auto Insurance?

My car’s in the body shop right now so they gave me a rental car. My insurance’s paying for the car rental up to March 24 however, the repair shop called and said it will take up to April 9th to get the car all fixed. Is there anyway that I can get my auto insurance to still cover the car rental during those days even though I have already reached the maximum coverage? The guy at the repair shop said I can fight it but I’m not so sure. Any helpful advice is welcome. Thanks!

What Is The Bare Minimum For Full Coverage Auto Insurance?

August 31st, 2009 4 Comments   Posted in Auto Insurance

I live in Idaho. I have not yet payed off the auto loan so I’m required to have full coverage insurance. According to some people I am paying too much (about 700 for 6 months), as they are paying far less. I have geico, but from time to time I look around and get quotes, and it is always slightly higher than what I have now. However, that might be because I am opting for coverage I might not need.
So the question boils down to, what is the bare minimum requirements for “full coverage” auto insurance in Idaho?
