My first car, has 120,000 miles on it, needs new transmission, clutch, hatchback leak seal, and general mainteance to the tune of $2500. Wondering if I should go ahead and repair it, or is it time to shop for a new car?

What Is The Major Difference Between The 1997 Bmw 328i And The 1997 328is?
In BMW-speak at the time, the 328is was the 2-door and the 328i was the four-door. Some people refer to the sedans with the sport package as the 328is, though BMW didn’t, and if this is the case, the sport package contains larger wheels and tires, stiffer suspension, leather interior (thought this was also available as part of other option packages) and 8-way power sport seats.

I hit a curb with the back right tire but we got it fixed and all but now in the rain its starting to go out of control at speeds of 40 mph.
