How Much Do You Think 2004 Bmw M3 Insurance Would Be For Someone Who Has Been Driving For 5 Clean Years?

i live in Massachusetts and am debating between an M3 or a mini cooper… both are extremely fun to drive but i was curious on M3 insurance. Also wouldn’t mind advice on what other people would choose. currently have 12k saved… the mini cooper s will be brand new at 24k and the m3 will be around 34

go to geico.com and esurance.com and get some quotes. i think the difference should be around $500/yr
the key thing that will be expensive is maintenance and repairs. the m3 will be more expensive obviously. tires alone will be much more expensive
if you have the cash flow, you can’t go wrong with the m3

Brad,
The M3 is more captivating to me.
*lol*
I would definitely choose the BMW M3. The Mini really is a cute car and obviously made by BMW, so you can’t go wrong with either choice
I am twenty years old and Insurance is pretty high. I have a 5 series … so I don’t know if an M would be more expensive or not. I assume you’re older than me; so insurance would probably be less for you than for me.
I would recommend not purchasing a BMW if costs are an issue.
They’re wonderful cars, I’ve grown up in them most of my life.
They don’t get the best of gas mileage, insurance is higher than other cars, but the Drive & Looks of it – out way all this in my opinion
They’re extremely reliable … don’t let people scare you by saying they’re only average in reliability – now, I’m sure some people don’t take care of their Bimmer’s and thus they’re “average”.
My family has always treated our BMW’s like Royality.
We us Mobil #1 oil, Engine inspections every 10,000 miles or so, regular Oil changes when need be, ect. Maybe this is why we rarely have a problem? And if something is discovered, we take care of it right away.
Sorry this is getting long …. but I want to recommend always taking a BMW to the dealer or a certified BMW Mechanic when need be… BMW’s operate differently and they need people that know the tricks of the trade for their special parts … that sounds kind of dirty … but hopefully you understand
BMW’s are super fun …. they’re the -most fun- cars you will ever drive next to my other favorite, Porsche of course
Good Luck!
