Hello. Anyone Knows Where The Fuel Pump Is On A 2001 Bmw 330ci And How Easy It Is To Replace?

I need help on fixing the fuel pump on my car. It is blowing the gas pump fuse everytime I try start the car. I guess it must be stuck or something. The car was unoperational for about a year. Does anyone know how to fix this or know links that can help?

    The fuel pump is underneath the right rear passenger seat area.
    You have to pull up on the leftmost and rightmost seat edges to remove the bench-type seat.Then detach the flooring foam cover in the area where you see a cable going in and
    remove the 4 nuts holding the metal cover. Underneath the cover is the pump.
    Replacing it is fairly easy for a BMW mechanic who has the tools and know-how. But I would not suggest it for the occasional DIY guy.
    The job while easy can be dangerous to a newbie.

    Its under the rear seat under a cover. Rap on it a few times and see if that gets her going again.
